The best way to know whether your family and Maharishi School are a perfect fit is to visit. You’ll want to meet our teachers, our administrators, spend time in the classrooms, and have your child meet their peers.
Visits to the Children’s House are arranged by appointment only. We request a two-week notice of all visits. Parents and students are invited to visit for a day.
To plan a visit, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call (641) 472-9400 ext.5076.
Sit down one-on-one with our Children’s House Director to learn more about the Montessori pedagogy and Positive Discipline philosophy. Together we can decide if it is a good fit for your child and your child’s needs. Interviews can be scheduled to proceed a class visit. Contact email@example.com or call (641) 472-9400 ext.5100 to schedule your interview.
3. Apply Online
There is a $25 application fee and you will need to provide the following information:
Copy of student’s birth certificate
Official immunization record or notarized waiver
Physical and Health records (completed by your doctor within the last 12 months)
Dental Screening (Kindergarten only)
As you navigate the application requirements, remember that the Maharishi Admissions team is here to be your partner every step of the way. Access ouronline application.
4. Await confirmation letter that space is available.
Because Maharishi School’s Children’s House has a waiting list, we use the following criterion to determine each family’s place on the list, shown in order of priority:
1. Maharishi School staff children
2. Sibling of a currently enrolled student (in any division)
3. MUM faculty/staff children
4. All others in each age group, by date of application. At each age level, class sizes are held to a predetermined number of students to ensure the quality of instruction, meet government regulations, and to allow our teachers to work individually with each student.
After receiving notification that your child has secured a seat, say “yes”. Pay the enrollment deposit and complete the enrollment process with our Registrar.
Families may opt to use our monthly payment plan or pay for each semester in full before the student begins in their classroom.
4. Schedule the start date with the Children’s House Director
The Maharishi Children’s House operates on a rolling admissions cycle and new students may be admitted throughout the school year where space is available. After the student is accepted and tuition is paid, the Children’s House Director will schedule your child’s start date with you.
