Fairfield parents and Maharishi School are working together to organize a summer camp that meets the needs of working parents, is affordable, and runs for most of the summer this year. Maharishi School has a natural outdoor classroom and school facility for the camp to use. This offers a nice range of activity with large, fenced outdoor spaces for games, water play, and exploration; large, air-conditioned indoor spaces with a wide array of toys and activities; and a variety of fun spaces with possibilities for gardening, cooking, naturalist learning, STEM activities, art projects and much more. Seasoned teachers and counselors will run the camp and are well trained and safety certified.
Stephanie Hawkins of the Fairfield Community Schools has made it possible for us to offer free lunch for our all-day campers and free breakfast for our early drop-off campers to make sure our kids are well-fueled for a day of fun with their friends. Campers are also, of course, welcome to bring their lunch if that is preferred.
The camp will run weekly from Monday, June 10th through Friday, August 3rd. This half day or full day Camp will be Available for ages 5-8 (Graduating PreK through 2nd Graders). Sign up for any or all of our 8 weeks! A minimum of two weeks is required for registration.
