Located on the beautiful campus of Maharishi International University, our students enjoy access to state-of-the-art amenities such as the Punj Tennis Center, Recreation Center, a greenhouse, media and student centers, student kitchen, libraries, art and music rooms, and fully equipped classrooms—all designed to for ease and access for our students. Our campus serves as an extension of the classroom, offering opportunities for growth, discovery, and holistic well-being beyond academics.

Our small class sizes allow passionate teachers to provide personalized attention, encouraging students to ask insightful questions and collaborate in a vibrant learning community. With a diverse international student body representing over 30 countries, Maharishi School cultivates global awareness and a rich, harmonious culture rooted in shared traditions.

With a caring boarding program for grades 9-12 in residence, Maharishi School truly feels like a family away from home. Whether on campus or beyond, our mission is to provide a nurturing environment where each student can thrive academically, spiritually, and personally—preparing them to be mindful and confident leaders in a changing world.

Academic Buildings

The heart of the complex is a central courtyard, planted with an orchard and a rose garden. In the Maharishi Stapathya Veda design, this is known as the Brahmasthan, the silent center around which all the activities of the school take place. Our students know it as our edible schoolyard and enjoy the apples, strawberries, and raspberries in the Fall and Spring.

The main, three-story building houses the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools. All rooms are spacious and light-filled, offering a pleasant view overlooking the tree-lined grounds. Adjacent is our preschool & kindergarten building and nature playground & garden.

Foster Hall, which houses more upper school classrooms, is on the northern side of the courtyard and overlooks the central, edible courtyard.

Facilities

On the western side is a 4,000-square-foot greenhouse. Our greenhouse, known as the Garden of Bliss, produces an abundance of fresh organic vegetables and serves as a hands-on classroom for our earth-to-table program.

On the southern side of the courtyard is our Media & Student Center, the Classroom Kitchen, and the Preschool.

We have two school libraries, three computer labs, three art rooms, a fully equipped digital and conventional photography lab, and two music rooms. The spacious auditorium is well-equipped for performances, school assemblies, community gatherings, and lunchroom.

Our unique location on the vibrant campus of Maharishi International University (MIU) provides our students with an unparalleled environment for growth, discovery, and holistic well-being.

Our campus is an extension of our classroom. Students benefit from access to world-class amenities that enrich their academic and personal lives. For our Upper School students, the MIU Student Center becomes a favorite spot to study with friends, giving them a taste of collegiate life in a safe and supportive setting.

Residential Life

Maharishi School is a global community with students and families representing more than 30 countries. Our school community is deeply enriched by students of diverse origins who come together to create global awareness and a vibrant school culture with rich traditions.

We know the decision to send your child to a boarding school far from home is not easy, and you are doing this as an investment in their future. We also understand you are making this decision out of love for your child. Because we believe that the world is our family, we take seriously our role as their extended family in the United States.

Across the street from the academic buildings is our dormitory, Hildenbrand Hall, which houses up to 28 students. The Maharishi School boarding program is available to students in grades 9-12.

Our school day is unique. It begins and ends not with a frantic bell, but with a few minutes of quiet, restful practice of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique. This evidence-based practice allows students to dissolve stress, connect with their inner reservoir of creativity and intelligence, and approach their studies with a refreshed and focused mind.

This calm alertness carries through the day. With small class sizes, our passionate teachers are able to provide personalized attention, fostering a deep and collaborative connection with every student. You won’t see rows of passive listeners; you’ll see engaged, curious minds working together, asking insightful questions, and experiencing the genuine joy of discovery.

Meals & Offerings

Lunchtime

At Maharishi School, we are committed to nourishing our students with healthy, wholesome meals that support their overall well-being and learning.

Our organic meals are locally sourced and carefully prepared in partnership with Maharishi International University, ensuring fresh, delicious, and sustainable options with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Every day, students may enjoy a hot lunch made from real, natural ingredients, emphasizing nourishing, home-style cooking that promotes energy and clarity. This approach instills healthy eating habits, contributing to a vibrant and mindful lifestyle for our students.

In addition, students may bring lunch from home, order from local restaurants, or utilize our on-site vending machines.

And when it comes to school spirit, the energy is electric at the Maharishi School Field House, home of the Pioneers! It’s here that our community gathers to cheer on our basketball and volleyball teams in exciting games that build camaraderie and pride.
