We offer financial aid because we believe that every child who wants to experience a Consciousness-Based education should have access, regardless of financial limitations.

Families seeking the best educational opportunities for their children understand that private school is an investment. Maharishi School strives to attract the best possible students by making this investment as affordable as possible through our generous financial aid program.

Financial Aid

Day Student Financial Aid:

To apply for financial aid, use our application HERE. This is a preliminary review of your financial status based on the data you provided. We may refer you to an independently reviewed process that will ultimately determine your Financial Aid, if needed.  Return the completed application and income verification directly to Maharishi School.  This information is confidential and only accessed by the Student Accounts Committee.

If your family owns a business or has other complicated financial situations, we ask that you complete the expanded application through FACTS Grant & Aid APPLY HERE.

Families should apply for financial aid during or shortly after submitting the application for admission.

Deadlines: For priority consideration, complete the aid application by April 16. Additional financial aid may be given out later, if funds are available. Financial aid applications for returning students will not be considered after June 30 (for the Fall semester) and December 15 (for the Spring semester).

Preschool (Ages 3-5) students may be eligible for grants through two organizations: the Iowa Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) and Early Childhood Iowa (ECI). ECI grants are available for 3-5-year-old students valued at up to $2,700 per year. Grants and scholarships for students qualifying for HHS are valued at $2,400-$5,800 per year. Maharishi School financial aid is not available for Preschool families.

Tuition fees for grades K-12: Families eligible for the Iowa ESA Voucher can use these funds for the first $8,000 of the tuition (exact value of the ESA is subject to annual change). Iowa ESA Voucher application opens April 16th.

Tuition fees cover academic textbooks and materials, and the PSAT exam fee.

Field trips, extracurricular activities, additional exam fees, and personal textbooks are the responsibility of the family.

Textbooks are the responsibility of the family.

Domestic Boarding

Maharishi School uses FACTS Grant & Aid for the independent, third-party assessment of financial aid need for domestic families. You will need to attach your most recent U.S tax return as part of your application. Families should apply for financial aid during or shortly after submitting the application for admission.

FACTS Grant & Aid APPLY HERE

Domestic boarding students can receive up to 40% off total fees covering tuition, room, and board. For priority consideration, complete the aid application by April 15.

International Boarding

Maharishi School uses School & Student Services (SSS) for independent, third-party assessment of financial aid need for International families. For priority consideration, complete the aid application by April 15.
