Students working on a STEM project

STEM

Grades 3–12

Ranked #1 in STEM by Niche.com, our STEM program pushes students beyond the traditional classroom into Robotics, Aviation, and the prestigious NASA TechRise Student Challenge — real projects with real stakes, not simulations.

Robotics

Our High School Robotics program is an immersive, hands-on experience where students run a complete team — engineering a competitive robot from the ground up, managing a budget, fundraising through sponsor pitches, and coding in Java for both autonomous and driver-controlled modes. Teams document the entire process in a formal Engineering Notebook, a key factor in competing for awards like the Connect, Design, and Control Awards.

Aviation

Students gain a real foundation in flight, aircraft systems, navigation, and FAA regulations — including a Discovery Flight where each student takes off, flies, and lands an aircraft under professional supervision. By the end, students are prepared to begin formal Student Pilot ground school and can hold an FAA Recreational Drone License.

NASA TechRise

Selected student teams design, build, and launch a real science experiment on a high-altitude balloon bound for the stratosphere, with weekly mentorship from NASA Outreach Engineers — one of only 60 schools nationwide chosen for this challenge.
