Small class sizes and dedicated ELL teachers meet each student where they are, from vocabulary development to preparing a paper for a science competition. Support ranges from one-on-one pull-out sessions (no more than three periods a day) to close, ongoing collaboration between ELL specialists and content-area teachers, so students build real command of English — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — alongside their academic coursework, not instead of it.
