Tennis isn’t a side note here — it’s a tradition. Our Pioneers play on ten courts shared with Maharishi International University: six outdoor at the Punj Tennis Center and four indoor at the Eyre Tennis Center, which means the season never really has to stop.
Maharishi School has the most decorated tennis program in Iowa — 20 state championships across singles, doubles, and team play, and the only school in the state ever to win three Triple Crowns (taking the singles, doubles, and team titles in the same year). Our teams have kept placing among the state’s top few in the years since, and more than a few graduates have gone on to play at the university level.
Behind that is coaching you don’t find everywhere: our program has been led by a nationally recognized, award-winning coach who’s as invested in sportsmanship as in the scoreboard. And here’s the part that matters most if you’re just starting out — you don’t have to arrive a star. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or chasing a state title, there’s a court, a team, and a coach ready for you.
Come find your level. The courts are waiting.
