Twice a day, our students stop. Then they go further.
Every day, students and teachers here close their eyes and practice Transcendental Meditation — once in the morning, once in the afternoon. A few quiet minutes of deep rest. It sounds simple, because it is. And it's one of the most powerful things we do.
What It Is
Transcendental Meditation (TM) is a simple mental technique, practiced sitting quietly with the eyes closed. No screens, no effort, nothing to believe. It gives the mind and body a kind of rest that's deeper than ordinary relaxation — and from that rest, students come back sharper, calmer, and ready.
What It Does
Sharper focus
A mind with less stress on it concentrates better and holds attention longer.
Less stress and anxiety
Students learn, first-hand, how to settle themselves — a tool they keep for life.
More creativity
Rest clears space for new ideas and different ways through a problem.
Steadier emotions
They handle a hard day, a hard test, and each other with more patience.
Real rest
The research points to markers of unusually deep rest and the easing of the body's stress response.
This is the inner half of a full education.
Develop a student's clarity, calm, and resilience, and their academics, relationships, and confidence all rise with it. Inner development, then outer success — it's the heart of Consciousness-Based Education, and why we call what we offer 200% of life.
