Emily Marcus, M.D., is an internist at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed medical school at Johns Hopkins University to become a "hospitalist," a doctor who works exclusively in hospitals. She also teaches students and medical residents from the University of Maryland Medical School.
Emily earned a bachelor's degree in holistic medicine at Maharishi University of Management (MUM) in 2004. She worked in a genetics lab in Iowa City, then started a two-year post-baccalaureate pre-med program at the University of Iowa before being accepted at Johns Hopkins University Medical School. Her residency in internal medicine was at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering.
