Heather Chase is the co-author of Great Peacemakers, winner of 38 book awards. The book tells the true life stories of 20 peacemakers from around the world. Programs in the U.S. and abroad use it, from middle school through graduate school.
She is director of research for Near Bridge, Inc., where she co-creates educational programs for organizations, including Fortune 500 companies. She also wrote Beauty without the Beasts: a Guide to Cruelty-Free Personal Care. She founded Models with Conscience, an international group of models promoting animal-friendly products and causes. Her honors include a Maharishi Award for World Peace, a Positive Notes Award from the Earth Island Journal, and a Giraffe Award.
