Fundraising Events

Our Fall Fundraiser: Fall FUNDamentals supports us to raising money for Maharishi School while making an impact in our community. During this fundraiser occurring throughout the months of September and October, Maharishi School creates several opportunities, for donors to support our Annual Fund. This unrestricted fund helps the school meet annual expenses such as employee salaries, upgrades in technology, financial aid, and materials and supplies for the classroom. Because this campaign is the first one in every school year, 

We will:

• Share with you how students benefit from incorporating the TM technique and Word of Wisdom into each school day
• Introduce our newest faculty and staff members
• Explain how dollars are spent in various areas of the school, and the impact of this support in creating innovative and age-appropriate curricula
• Share with you news of our Boarding Program, and profiles of students from around the world.

Throughout the month of December, we include Giving Tuesday and Matching Donations in our Season of Giving Campaign, as donors continue to support our Annual Fund.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. It was created as a day that encourages people to do good. Giving Tuesday, held annually the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, has grown over the years into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Maharishi School celebrates this event through emails sent and fun giveaways.

Towards the end of December, we have been fortunate to have donors who will match individual donations dollar for dollar. This is a time of year when donors are looking to make a tax-deductible donation to Maharishi School, and what better way than to double the impact. During this Season of Giving, these donations support a brighter future for our dedicated faculty and staff, as well as our creative and intelligent students.

One of our newest additions, and by far out most popular fundraiser, is the SPRING RAFFLE.

For the past five years, Maharishi School has hosted a Spring Raffle, bringing in several hundred participants from not only Fairfield, but around the country, especially alumni. This annual tradition, now in its fifth year, promises to offer exciting Grand Prizes, as well as an online Gala Event for all to enjoy.

Participants choose to purchase tickets for either one or any of FIVE amazing prizes. Tickets are $25 each, or five for $100 (all of which need to be in the same prize category). Lots of choices, lots of amazing prizes!

While there’s nothing like winning an Airbnb vacation or tickets to your favorite concert in Kansas City, this family-friendly online Spring Raffle is a real celebration. Lots of Bonus Giveaways are drawn randomly throughout the night, many of which have been donated by local stores and restaurants in town, as well as by Maharishi School alumni.

Throughout the evening, you see several alumni pre-recorded videos, where they talk about their personal and/or professional life.

The evening culminates with selecting five Grand Prize Raffle winners.

Maharishi Yagya performances are Vedic performances that promote success and good fortune for the school. Our community-wide yagyas take place each Spring. We invite everyone to participate by donating, as these yagyas strengthen the cornerstones of our community. Thank you for supporting Maharishi School and our greater community.
