Cooking Club

From garden to table

Cooking Club is hands-on, delicious, and closer to the source than most — Maharishi School has its own classroom kitchen and a 4,000-square-foot greenhouse that grows fresh vegetables right on campus.

Members learn to cook real food from real ingredients, often drawing on our Seed to Table program and the produce grown in the greenhouse. It’s part skill (knife work, technique, following and adapting a recipe) and part culture — sharing dishes, tasting new cuisines, and understanding where food comes from and why it matters. Cooking has been a recurring favorite in our Project Period, and the club keeps it going.

Club offerings vary by year with student interest and available advisors.
