Students on an Environmental Club outing

Environmental Club

Care for the place you're in

Sustainability isn’t an add-on at Maharishi School — it’s built into a campus with a working greenhouse, an edible courtyard, and a Seed to Table program. The Environmental Club is where students take the lead on it.

Members turn concern into action: tending the greenhouse and gardens, running recycling and sustainability efforts, and taking on projects that make the campus and community greener. With Fairfield’s Loop Trail and parks nearby, there’s plenty of the natural world close at hand to explore and protect. It’s hands-in-the-soil learning about stewardship — the kind that sticks because students do it themselves.

Club offerings vary by year with student interest and available advisors.
