Our Admissions Process

1.  Apply Online

There is a $30 application fee, and  you will need to provide the following information:

• Copy of the student’s birth certificate
• Official immunization record or notarized waiver

2. Visit and Interview

The best way to know if Maharishi School is a perfect fit for your family is to come to observe the Nature Explore Classroom, indoor classrooms, and Consciousness-Based Education™ curriculum for yourself. Afterward, you will be invited to sit down one-on-one with our Preschool Director to hear more about the program and answer any questions you have. This is also the time we will get to know you and determine together if Maharishi School is a good match for your child and their needs.

The visit and interview are arranged by appointment only. To plan a visit and interview, contact admissions@maharishischool.org or call (641) 472-9400 ext.5076.

To provide an authentic observation, we request that your first visit and interview be for parents only. A visit for your child can be scheduled at a later date.

3. Await acceptance letter

When Maharishi School’s Preschool has a waiting list, we use the following criteria to determine each family’s place on the list, shown in order of priority:

4. Complete the enrollment process

After receiving your acceptance letter, say “yes”. Pay the enrollment deposit and complete the enrollment process with our Registrar.

Families may opt to use our monthly payment plan or pay for each semester in full before the student begins in their classroom.

The following documents are required to complete the enrollment process:

• Physical and Health records (completed by your doctor within the last 12 months)
• Dental Screening (Kindergarten Only)
• Ages and Stages questionnaire

An offer of admission is conditioned on Maharishi School being able to meet any necessary or reasonable accommodations.  If you have such needs, please contact our Admissions Office after you have received an offer of admission.
